Skysill Rooftop Lounge soars 18 stories above the city of Tempe as the Valley’s highest open-air rooftop bar.                           Overall a very good experience. My one recommendation is to have heaters around the tables and chairs. Since it is all outdoors and it get chilly after sunset.

                          This is not a restaurant, it's a bar by the pool. We made a reservation for our anniversary when we got there it was clear they didn't even know we had made one. The menu was very limited. We ended up leaving.

                          Unfortunately the menu on their website & the menu provided by the staff was not the same. Also, the website made it seem like it was more of an upscale restaurant when in actuality it’s a bar with bad service & low-end bar food. Also, the drinks are insanely overpriced. Definitely not a place I’d recommend going if you want a nice night out with friends. Total bummer.

                          We stopped there before heading out to celebrate my boyfriend’s special birthday and from the start of our experience it was not good. The bartender responded to my drink request as a cheap drink! I told him “you are calling me cheap!” I felt totally disrespected by this young man’s comment and to top it all off, he never came by to check if the drink he suggested was to my liking or not. It was not as I expected the night to begin for our celebration and definitely not expected to be “called” cheap because of my drink request! Will definitely never visit that establishment again!

                          Amazing view of the city and beyond. Casual atmosphere. In addition to dining tables, casual couch spaces are set up around the outside of the dining patio area. Menu is limited to some basic pub dishes. Food was good. Drinks that we ordered were okay but not great. This is an open-air place to meet with friends, be a little loud and enjoy amazing views.

                          Come at sunset for the view unless you're looking for an all day pool hang. Valet parking (otherwise $18) is validated (free other than tip) for rooftop guests. Service staff was well above average - friendly & focused. DJ was just OK. Food was OK+ It's the top notch bar/service staff and the view that make this a very good pick for 2-4 hours of your evening. If you're a new ASU student checking in and your parents are in town, you'll score some big points bringing them up here for a snack and a drink on their tab ;-) - just wait until 6-6:30pm so they don't think you're trying to cook them Kudos to the bar staff. I made a special request on my OpenTable reservation asking them to have a specific drink ready on arrival for my wife's birthday. They were perfect! Thanks
