    Always a very pleasant experience. Food and service are great. Wife and I always enjoy our meals at the Slanted Door and highly recommend it to others.

    Slanted Door did not disappoint. We had the specials. Lobster with there house made noodles. New York strip prepared impeccably. Our appetizer was Imperial rolls pork and shrimp was excellent. We ended our evening with banana gelato in a pastry accompanied with a chocolate sea salt caramel sauce. Highly recommend.

    Four us had a delish meal and great service. The prices are very high but the food is excellent quality. But my mocktail was $12...they also automatically add a 20% tip which they luckily underlined on the bill otherwise we might not have noticed. The atmosphere is industrial sparse. The weird things were; dessert is not the same theme as the Vietnamese-Asian-fusion, and our table section was such that we had two major corridors of traffic, people walking to their tables, and same when we left walking very close to other diners. I would next time ask for a table by a window for less rush-flow. I will be be back, this is one of the few places that make authentic imperial rolls.

    The food was good but pricey. 3 of us the bill came up to $236 for lunch! They added 20% service charge automatically. The place was quite loud but why I took a star off was the service…. It was SLOW! It took us almost 2 hours as the main dishes were not served after more than an hour.

    First time here and we’re definitely going again. The food is phenomenal, service is impeccable and the restaurant is very nice. It has a very modern yet simplistic design.

    The food is not as good as it used to be. The large dumpling wrapped in banana leaf was not as good dumpling, but the pastry/dough on the bottom and the filling spread on the top. It was not hot and steamy, as dumplings should be. Also, adding the 20% tip without prior knowledge is a bit cheeky.
