Thank you for choosing SLYCE, where pizza is our passion. We have preserved the art of making hand crafted artisanal coal fired pizzas. Our mission is simple: Have a simple menu that allows us to focus special attention to every ingredient that comes into our building. We choose and use the best quality ingredients possible. We do not believe in premade, mass produced food. We source locally grown or raised products whenever possible and use one of the cleanest natural burning resources to heat our ovens. At SLYCE less is more, as our fresh ingredients are delicately placed, not piled on, to create a perfectly balanced pie. Our dough is made in house daily, hand stretched to order, and baked next to a burning pile of coal giving it a thin, bubbly crust with charred edges and leopard spotting on the bottom. So sit back and relax, as we hand craft you one of your favorite, perfectly charred pies.

    The salads are amazing full of flavor and delicious toppings and all the dressings are handmade. The pizza is outstanding. It's cooked to perfection in a wood oven. Fennel sausage is to die for and plenty of options with any toppings you would like.  Service was exceptional. The gelato bar was like icing on a cake, and the servers totally make for a great evening out.

    Slow service. Got the order wrong. Made us wait for price adjustment and then only gave 15% off. $3 off not worth the wait. Pizza isn’t great.

    Added red pepper to our pizza and we could hardly see it...very skimpy. Service was good.

    Excellent pizza and reasonably priced. Good atmosphere and the robot pizza delivery is so cool. It will even sing happy birthday!!

    Once we got the staff to LF I’m the lights and turn on the TV’s with live sports we were good to go. The manager and our waitress were great, accommodating, patient as we had a large group! Will definitely be back!

    Food was very slow and server didn’t do anything to make up for it - we sat with empty drinks while we waited almost 40 min for a pizza and a sandwich. Every time we come it’s hit or miss. Usually the food tastes good but service has never been great. Today both were not good. Def left feeling disappointed and like we wasted our money

    We wanted crispy and well done pizzas but they were soggy. Also, drinks also took v long to arrive. Server was very very nice but seemed overwhelmed. Ambience was great but table and presentation should be enhanced to match the overall vibe of the place to make it an upscale pizza place!

    We've dined at SLYCE in Wauconda several times, but this was our first visit to Vernon Hills. The food was great as always. Charlie, our server, made a great recommendation for a pizza we had never tried, and it did not disappoint. Very good experience, overall.

    Some of the pizzas were salty for my taste. I parked in the north parking lot and it was hard to get to the correct entrance in the freezing cold!

    Tina, I am so sorry you had a negative experience. This does not sound like SLYCE quality pizza. I would love an opportunity for you to give us another chance to make things right! As for the parking lot, I do apologize. I always recommend people parking near the Nordstrom Rack parking lot or kiddy corner to Crisp & Green.
