I have been to S&W many times and it has never disappointed. Our waiter, Art was the best waiter I have ever had there and I will ask for a seat in the future that he servers because he was just great. We had to wait a little bit longer then usual for our food to come but overall it was great.

Disappointment due to quality of the food and service. Probably the worst file mignon and bearnaise sauce I ever hade. I had hig expectations to visit this restaurant due to the history. The service was a mix of everything, my waiter was arrogant and not interested except for getting tips. As well as the team that meet you at the door. That said, the rest of the staff/waiters was good, and very friendly and did have a big service mind. Atmosphere was good but the food made the whole visit a disappointment. P:S when you get a meat knife it needs to be sharp , could have used the spoon.

I don’t get to NYC as often as I used to One staple that never declines is the wonderful food and great service at Smith & Wollensky Just can’t beat it

Incredible filet mignon, extremely tender, nicely charred and flavorful. Enjoyed the appetizers, side dishes. Service was superb. Can’t wait to return.

Locale storico per mangiare carne a Manhattan. Abbiamo optato per dei filetti accompagnati dal loro vino “della casa” in bottiglia. I filetti erano molto buoni, anche il vino della Napa Valley era buono. Peccato per la luce, il locale è molto buio, si fa fatica a leggere il menu. Per il rapporto qualità prezzo siamo nella media per un ristorante di questo tipo, 130$ a testa ed eravamo in quattro. Lo consiglio.
