Excellent experience! No onion rings on the menu is very disappointing. Smallest steak is 9 oz. More than I usually prefer.

We had a great table overlooking the river. There were 6 of us on Christmas night. Our food was delicious, however, some of it was warm not hot. We did send the fries back and they took until we were done eating to be replaced. Service was good, we got what we needed but not friendly. I would go back.

Food was generally at the level that you would expect, except for the truffle Mac and cheese which was a pool of liquid and could have benefited from five minutes in the oven to come together and brown, it was watery and the one thing my family left, which was disappointing. On the other hand, the crab cakes were excellent, steaks were great, whipped potatoes luxurious, wine was great, and the coconut cake at the end of our meal that we shared, had us talking about it at breakfast this morning, it was that delicious.

Ryan and manager Trent were amazing!!! Sinner for 2 was $545USD , for us Canadians about $750. The people we met and the service received was remarkable. No regrets but our fortune constitutes a very healthy donation to the foodbank!!!

We had Christmas dinner here and overall, we had a very good experience with a great view of the river from our table. The server was excellent and very friendly. Our steaks were cooked exactly as we had requested. The only thing that we thought might have been better was that we were seated at a table for 6 people, and it was just the wife and me. It was not really an inconvenience. However, my wife commented a few times that she felt like her seat was in the way of everyone walking. It was not our first time here and certainly will not be our last. If you are looking for a great dinner experience for just yourself or with friends, definitely dine here.

My expectation was that we would be seated in the dining room on the main floor. Instead we were seated on the lower level in a room with no atmosphere. It was very crowded and the noise level was rather high. The only lights were overhead which gave a business setting feel. Our server was nice, although he was serving many tables which caused our service to be lacking at times. I started with the iceberg lettuce salad which was delicious. I ordered the tenderloin filet which, for the price, should have been much more tender. I added the sides of mushrooms and creamed spinach, which were good, but not great. I realize it was Christmas, and the restaurant was crowded, but, our experience was not special nor festive. Honestly, it did not meet my expectations. I thank you for seeking out my review. I truly wish it could be better, because, I appreciate your hard working staff, who gave up time with their families to serve on Christmas.

The food was absolutely outstanding (best clam chowder I have ever had) and the service was 10/10. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Chicago thus far.
