Steak was amazing. The sides of whipped potatoes and asparagus with hollandaise sauce was outstanding. Andre our server was great, and we were celebrating my wife’s birthday and they provided her a choice of a birthday cake. She chose the coconut cake and it was delicious. We will be back.😊

Very nice ambience. Service was great. Steak was prepared well and good cut! Whipped potatoes exquisite. Truffed Mac was bland.

Smith and Wollensky is one of the finest restaurants in Chicago. Go there regularly and are never disappointed. Service is outstanding and is only exceeded by the quality of the food. Great hospitality for such a fine restaurant.

The restaurant was very nice. The view was absolutely beautiful with the table overlooking the water. The food was good a little over priced. The wait staff was very attentive and diligent checking in often. I would highly recommend this place.

Excellent experience! No onion rings on the menu is very disappointing. Smallest steak is 9 oz. More than I usually prefer.

We had a great table overlooking the river. There were 6 of us on Christmas night. Our food was delicious, however, some of it was warm not hot. We did send the fries back and they took until we were done eating to be replaced. Service was good, we got what we needed but not friendly. I would go back.

Food was generally at the level that you would expect, except for the truffle Mac and cheese which was a pool of liquid and could have benefited from five minutes in the oven to come together and brown, it was watery and the one thing my family left, which was disappointing. On the other hand, the crab cakes were excellent, steaks were great, whipped potatoes luxurious, wine was great, and the coconut cake at the end of our meal that we shared, had us talking about it at breakfast this morning, it was that delicious.
