We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent! Our highlights: "Roll the Dice" Old Fashioned, Seafood Tower, NY Strip, Truffle Mac and Cheese, tableside flambeed Baked Alaska. We will be back!

I have been to S&W in several cities, and Chicago has always been my favorite! However, this visit was a little disappointing. Our table was ready on time and service came swiftly, however, as dinner progressed, it felt very rushed. The food was just "meh!" Both appetizers were to be served cold, yet they were very room temperature. The steaks were cooked to temp in the middle, but very charred on the outside. The lobsters were barely warm and the butter was cold, too. I asked if we could have the butter heated up as the candle wasn't warming it fast enough, the waiter condescendingly explained to me that butter can not be microwaved as it would explode. I mean, duh, like I've never microwaved butter before, LOL! We shared a few deserts, that being the highlight of the meal. The baked alaska was divine, but I expect a lot more for a $700 dinner for 4 people. Overall, I'll try another steakhouse in the city during my next visit as I'm not in a huge hurry to return...

Overall great experience. Service was amazing. Filet mignon could’ve had more flavor. Lobster tail add on was alright for the price. But definitely delicious. Can’t wait to come back!
