We love the simplicity of seasonal and local ingredients. Modern dining and ancient techniques such as smoking, curing and preserving are at the heart of our restaurant. These aspects motivate us as well as bringing in other global flavours, ingredients, and cuisines. In this way, we try to reflect the diversity and multiculturality of South London and the UK through our food. We are a Catey and Time Out Love London award-winning restaurant with mentions in the Good Food Guide and the esteemed Michelin Guide.

We are pleased to offer one of the cheapest tasting menu experiences in London too - so don't hesitate to book us for your next special occasion.

Guests will be offered our five OR seven course sharing menus only with options available for dietary requirements only.

    oin us for an unforgettable evening as we welcome James Eaton of Ellis Wines to guide us through a 5-course tasting menu, perfectly paired with exquisite natural wines. Let the fresh, vibrant flavors of spring come to life on your plate and in your glass. 🌸 From bright, biodynamic whites to complex, unfiltered reds, this is a journey into the essence of natural winemaking. The wine dinner is priced at £80 per person (excluding Service Charge) and will include 5 dishes from Smoke & Salt and 5 tasting wines. A £10 per head booking deposit will be taken through OpenTable, this will be offset against your final bill for the evening.

    My first time celebrating a friend’s birthday at this tucked away gem. Remi (owner and chef) clearly has a real passion for creating delicious, seasonal food and interacting with guests. Service and drinks were also fab - would 💯 recommend this place for a special occasion. Will be back - with TTD Madagascan vanilla for the martinis 😉 Please support this lovely local restaurant - you won’t regret it!

    Amazing. Food was stunning, staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent value and left feeling comfortably full. Loved it so much we’ve booked again for the next menu already! 100% recommend

    Not expecting the set menu. Expensive by the glass champagne. Presentation needs work but flavours and inspired dishes. Nice meal

    A fine dining experience without the fully loaded fine dining price tag. Definitely a special occasion meal- worked out to be over £100 per head. We had the 7 course meal but chose our own wine. Some properly stand out dishes. Inventive and the 3 starters kicked us off brilliantly. Thankfully I had not eaten that day as it was a huge meal. Next time I will opt for the 5 course and there will be a next time. Excellent food and service. Brilliant evening keep up the great work
