Socarrat Paella Bar - Nolita is now accepting reservations for indoor and outdoor dining, weather permitting. In the case where we need to close outdoor seating due to inclement weather, we will contact you the day of your reservation.

Socarrat, the quintessence of the perfect paella and for which the restaurant is named, is the delectable, sensuous crust that forms on the bottom of the paella pan when the liquid is rendered and the rice reaches its peak of succulence. The menu, an authentic array of delicious dishes from the regions of Spain specializing in traditional tapas with an accent on paella that can be characterized as a true exploration for the palette.

Socarrat Nolita's ambiance denotes feelings of warmth, comfort, and hospitality. Building on its sister restaurant's identity as a small, intimate space comprised primarily of one large communal table, the restaurant also offers banquet, bar and table seating.

Live Flamenco performance every Tuesday, 7-10pm.

This restaurant is amazing. The food and the staff are amazing too. I can wait to go back and next time I go is going to be on a Tuesday night. My husband and I love it so much.

Started off with cocktails at the bar while waiting to be seated. The entire space is compact and cozy. On a Friday night, the place is packed and loud but one gets used to the high energy quickly. Very young crowd. We ordered a jamon iberrico board and a paella (for two, the only way you can order paella) with a mix of shellfish (the scallops in the paella were amazing.) There is a long wait for the paella so it makes sense to get an appetizer. The paella is served in a cast iron skillet and has a nice crunchy component to it. The paella is why I come here. We ordered some sangria tinto. Because of a glitch in service we were given complimentary glasses of sangria which was a nice touch of service. The main hostess was super friendly and warm. We ended the meal splitting a order of flan which came with some fresh strawberries. I really like the vibe here and will gladly return.

My visit to Socarrat was outstanding. I was referred this restaurant by a friend and she spoke highly about the food and the service. Our server Wilor P. went above and beyond yesterday with our table. First explaining the history of Socarrat and highlighting their paellas to recommending their most popular dishes and drinks. Each second we spent at Socarrat we were well taken care of. Each dish we tried was on point!! I highly recommend Socarrat.
