As a first time guest, I was really looking forward to a great experience. Michelin recommended? What could go wrong. I am celiac and always review menu before booking. I knew there were only 2 pasta options but all the pizzas were able to be made gluten free. When we were seated, our server was made aware that it was my husbands 50th birthday. This was never acknowledged again. When we placed our orders, I was told they had no gluten free pizza dough. This is a Michelin recommended restaurant on valentines long weekend. I would assume they’d be prepared. Given there are only 2 gluten free options that are both meat sauce, I asked for a white sauce on GF pasta like the Alfredo they use on the pizza I originally wanted. When the food arrived, the server auctioned off our food having no idea who had ordered what. My dish was penne noodles with Alfredo sauce and a grilled chicken breast (running almost $50+tax once they charged me for the extras). It was a fine pasta but when the server did a quality check he said “I’m so glad to see the chef went above and beyond for you” as if I had made an obscure request. I wouldn’t have had to ask for a white sauce pasta if the kitchen prepared GF pizza dough and would have spent $20 less on something I actually wanted. I was highly unimpressed with the entire experience. If you’re looking for a good Italian meal with gluten free options (every time), go to Nook or Elio Volpe. They may not be Michelin recommended but this place shouldn’t be either.請問這對你有幫助嗎?

Love the vibes and we were so lucky to get a booth seat where we could watch the chef to make pizza! It’s amazing! The food was very delicious and I enjoyed the seafood paella so so much!!! Will go back again!請問這對你有幫助嗎?

The serve one of the best burgers in the city because they ask how you would like it prepared! I choose medium rare. Pizza was also delicious. We had a time restriction so our orders came piping hot very quickly.請問這對你有幫助嗎?

Service was slow. Our waiter kept forgetting about us- he would pass by us and then realize he forgot us. Took 20 mins to get tap water. Our cocktails arrived after our entrees and he kept making excuses that clearly weren’t true. Next to us was a table of white people, and he treated them far better than us. Food was great 10/10. We’ve been here many times, I think Valentine’s Day made it not quite as smooth of an experience as usual. The cocktails were top notch, the sablefish risotto was fantastic, pizza amazing as always, the burger was good but not as good as previous ones. My only negative comment on this restaurant is the metal chair legs on the concrete floors are horrendously noisy and it takes away from the atmosphere. Honestly such a disappointing experience. We called and emailed before hand to make sure there would be a gluten free pizza available, but upon ordering our waiter informed us there would be no gluten free crust available for atleast 3 hours (8pm). This was so upsetting as we booked the reservation 1 month prior and couldn’t even go someplace else. I ended up modifying a pasta to make it gluten free and vegetarian and then proceeded to pay $44 for plain pasta with sauce. Absolutely absurd. We didn’t want to create a scene or ruin our Valentines day so we quietly left. I don’t understand why I paid $44 for plain penne pasta with sauce. The price included a stuffed ricotta and mushroom ravioli which I didn’t get, and I paid an extra $4 for the gluten free pasta. It made sense for the Ravioli to be $40 as it’s stuffed and homemade, but why is it the same price even with plain pasta, plus an extra fee. Honestly a really disappointing Valentine’s day.請問這對你有幫助嗎?
