Solomon's represents the heart of a Jewish delicatessen combined with international street food inspired by great cities around the world where Tower Records had stores, including Bangkok, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Tel Aviv and Tokyo. Like Tower Records, Solomon's is a community gathering place where culture and music is celebrated and everyone is welcome.

NO BAGELS, NO LIFE

Located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento, a block from Golden 1 Center, in a remastered Tower Records store, the spirit of the record store that shifted music culture lives on at Solomon's.

Please Note: All reservations are 1.5 hour seatings. We will do our best to extend when possible. Reservations apply to our dining room and expansive patio. The Russ Room, on the 2nd floor, is a live music venue, art gallery, and social space overlooking K Street featuring a mix of seating options including private dining, lounge, cocktail and standing room.

Went there for Mother’s Day brunch at 11:30 as they had advertised to be going on and there was only a lunch menu. I asked the hostess and they seemed inconvenienced and handed me a small paper with “after hours” breakfast options with very few to pick from. Wasn’t impressed with food. The place had potential to do better. There were people seeing the menu and getting up to leave.

I absolutely love the vibe of this place and the music was great to listen to while eating. The food was okay I thought I was going to wow me. The cold brew is a great choice and the fries are great. I do wish there was more options. Overall I had a good experience and would come back to try some other foods on the menu.

The food is always good, service can suffer when the place is busy, but the staff try their best. Great tunes, some really cool ‘80s videos on TV. Definitely with a try if you haven’t already been.

I went to Solomon's hoping to get a good bagel, but my bagel was pretty average. Noah's bagels are better and a lot cheaper. The price I paid for an ok bagel with some cream cheese and smoked salmon was ridiculous. I've been curious about Solomon's for a while. Now that I tried it I wouldn't go back.

Went for a Saturday brunch on a rainy day. We had a reservation and were sat immediately in the upstairs lounge. The energy in Solomon's is radiant and nostalgia overload in a good way. With deli and diner classics but with a twist there are lots of good options. I had the chicken and French toast which I loved the alternative to waffle. It was so fresh and we'll seasoned. My partner ordered the breakfast sando and it hit the spot for comfort and flavor. Lots of vinyl on the walls and a live dj pay a great homage to the tower record store it once was. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We will be back again soon for sure.

If you want a great treat and some great bits with supreme beats, Solomon's is the place. I'd definitely recommend the upstairs listening lounge for the vibes. Feel free to dance!

I had an amazing experience. The staff is great. The food was great. I love the ambience of the restaurant. The Dj was so good. I definitely can’t wait to come back and spend some more time here.
