Son'z Steakhouse at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa boasts breathtaking views of cascading waterfalls, a lushly lit lagoon, and Maui sunsets.

Our diverse menu features freshly caught local fish only 100% USDA-certified Prime beef, known for its superior flavor and tenderness. Our bone-in ribeye, New York strip, and tomahawk steaks are dry-aged in-house, and all our steaks are marinated in olive oil and fresh herbs, hand-rubbed in Hawaiian salt and fresh cracked pepper, broiled to perfection, and finished with herb-infused Maître d'Hôtel butter.

                                                                          Visiting Maui at the Hyatt Regency. This sr teak house was in the resort and very good. We got filets and they melted in your mouth. Expensive but worth it!

                                                                          We had been in Maui for 5 days and finally found a place that served a good delicious steak. Sitting in front of the waterfall was just beautiful. Excellent and fast service.

                                                                          Celebrated our 40th anniversary here. Perfect atmosphere, service and food. The New Zealand lamb was amazing and the mahi-mahi with lobster was spectacular as well.

                                                                          I made a reservation two months ago for Thanksgiving dinner. I was contacted twice to confirm my reservation. We arrived a few minutes early and ended up having to wait for 45 minutes past our reservation time for a table. No apology from the host or manager. The food was ok, definitely not worth the money. Our server was the only saving grace, she was very sweet. Don’t bother going. It’s a very mismanaged restaurant.

                                                                          Our reservation was scheduled for 5:30 PM, but we got served to our table a few minutes past. Despite the ambience expectations being quite high due to the restaurants location beside a water body, it was pretty but awfully loud and also dark. Lots of people were also out of control. Regarding the food service, it was fair but on the absurd side. When we were ordering our entrees, we were encouraged to order as many sides as we wanted, making it sound like it was complimentary, without telling us about the actual additional fees. We were extremely dissatisfied when the bill showed us we unknowingly spent $120 on 7 sides we were convinced were free. The food itself, when served after 40 minutes, was average. If you’re looking for something special, I wouldn’t recommend. If you’re just looking for a family meal, go ahead.

                                                                          We loved our dinner and the food was amazing but our poor waiter was new and the timing of our first round of drinks was slow. All in all it was an amazing meal though!
