The food is good; the drinks are excellent, and our server Freddy was awesome. However, the management is rude and unprofessional.
This was my 2nd visit. I had brunch last week and decided to return to celebrate my birthday with friends. All was good until we were approached by the manager Nathan (after we had ordered food and were on our 3rd round of drinks) and told we needed to move because he needed the table for another reservation. Keep in mind that unlike with brunch, there was no table time limit mentioned when we made the reservation.
When we asked if we could finish our drinks, he suggested we pick them up and move to the bar (where there were not available seats). When we said we could just close out, he still tried to get us to get up saying that we could close out at the bar. Apparently, the owner (who was a couple tables over with a large party) had friends he was trying to make room for.
There is an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill which is not a problem. However, perhaps they do that so they can treat you poorly and try to herd you out without losing money.
When we were leaving, the above-mentioned owner was blocking the stairs arguing with the doorman about people being let in. The doorman literally had to nudge him aside so people could pass. Rude and unprofessional.... this is not a good look.
There are too many establishments that appreciate your business, so unfortunately it is unlikely that I will return. We left and went around the corner to Grafitti Raw to continue my birthday celebration.
