Meet Sorella, a spirited new Italian restaurant from the team behind Acquerello. Grounded in tradition but contemporary in style, Sorella is a convivial restaurant and bar from a group of deeply passionate hospitality professionals that value warmth and gracious hospitality.

With a dynamic kitchen led by Seth Turiansky, overseen by our esteemed Executive Chef Suzette Gresham and an innovative cocktail program highlighting many of the unique spirits of Italy, Sorella is an exciting addition to the Bay Area culinary scene. Located at the crest of Polk, Sorella incorporates the history and legacy of Italy into a vibrant, modern-day bar and restaurant.

The food was very good. Portions didn’t correlate to prices though. Our server was very negligent. I never had water filled. Appetizer came out with our entree.

We had a delicious meal to celebrate our engagement. The hostess was kind and congratulated us, and we were seated at the bar as we had requested. The bartender was sweet and knowledgeable and gave us Prosecco to toast with.

Very nice experience, from oysters to ceviche to pasta. We shared everything and loved it. They even treated us with a sweet dessert that we did not expect. Almond/amaretto cookies topped the night.

We loved our experience here! The staff was friendly, the food was VERY good and the price was fair- we left very happy!
