   Loved it! Great service, fantastic food, intimate atmosphere. Sat at the sushi counter and got the omakase, every bite was delicious and overall great value.

   Soto is hands down one of Houston’s top sushi gems. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is upscale but welcoming — perfect for a special night out. I went with the omakase and it was more than just dinner — it was a full experience. Every piece of sushi was incredibly fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. You can tell Chef Andy Chen pours passion and precision into every dish. The service was on point — attentive but never intrusive. And the sake and Japanese whiskey selection? Impressive. It felt like a hidden gem, even though it’s clearly earned its spot as one of the best Japanese spots in the city. I’ll definitely be back.

   Thank you to chef Andy, Erik and the entire staff of Soto for making such a wonderful Omakase experience for me last night. I appreciate both the artistry and the culinary excellence. The attention to detail, the drink pairing selections and the friendliness of everyone assisting to make such a memorable evening was truly spectacular.
