   Very pretty setting on the marina. Food was great … very fresh, terrific flavor, beautiful presentation. Service was prompt and attentive and knowledgeable. Lively and comfortable ambience.

   We ordered 5 appetizers and shared them among 5 people—this worked out very well to try out their menu. Everyone’s mains were different, and all of us agreed the taste and preparation were on the spot. The watermelon with olives, tomatoes and goat cheese salad had the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Great birthday dinner that was memorable. A house dessert was brought out with the request of a candle but no singing, and that worked out beautifully. The Basque cheesecake was the real McCoy! It was the perfect ending.

   Came here for a business dinner and had such a great experience. Starters were delicious. We had the hummus, shrimp skewer, and Greek salad. For entrees we split the lemon chicken and patatas bravas. We enjoyed everything family style. Service and ambience were also great!

   Second time dining here and we returned for an Easter Sunday Brunch. Once again, the food and service did not disappoint. Had a beautiful outdoor table with a wonderful ambience, the music was at just the right level to enjoy and still have a nice conversation. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious and the service was very good. For a relartively new restaurant I highly recommend and will return.

   Had a wonderful Easter meal at Sotogrande. Amazing ambience and view of the marina. It was a beautiful day and enjoyed it by sitting outside. One strange quirk is the location of the entrance. Seems a little out of the way. That being said, would definitely go back

   We recently enjoyed a lovely evening at Sotogrande at Pier 66 in Fort Lauderdale, and from start to finish it was nothing short of exceptional. Because dinner reservations between 6 and 8 PM book up fast, we opted for an early seating. Though we’re locals only five minutes away, we chose to drive so our parents could arrive comfortably. Booking was effortless—shortly after reserving, we received a friendly confirmation via OpenTable text, which was so convenient. When we arrived, the host checked whether we preferred a fully shaded table; that thoughtful attention made all the difference in our comfort. Our server—Lewis (or Louis; apologies for not catching the exact spelling!)—was warm, attentive, and smiling throughout the evening, instantly putting us at ease. We also appreciated the support of a young colleague who checked in frequently, as well as a third server who delivered our dishes with equal kindness and care. The level of service truly felt impeccable. As for the food, we had zero complaints. The catch of the day was perfectly soft and buttery, the lamb chops were excellent, and my father thoroughly enjoyed the chicken skewers. The entrée portions were modest, but the vegetable sides were generous—an especially nice touch if you’re leaning vegetarian or vegan. Even our departure felt special: the hotel valets opened the car doors for all 4 of us and waited until we got in to close the door for us, extending that same high standard of service right through to goodbye. All in all, Sotogrande delivered a memorable dining experience—highly recommended for anyone seeking great food, thoughtful service, and a relaxed al fresco ambiance.

    Wonderful food, beautiful view and great service. On the higher end of price but so unique and wonderful ambiance makes it worth it for a special occasion.
