   Every course showed care in preparation and tastiness. We shall return. Sailors should not have music or at least much softer music.

   We booked online which super easy & selected the time, we were greeted warmly & all the staff when really happy & friendly. The food was delicious & value for money would definitely return.

   We had another very special lunch down at South Sailor in Thirroul ! It really is a unique venue… an Asian/Japanese influence making fish and chips with a difference…and a sophisticated difference too! If you want champagne and caviar to start, then this is the right place. Service and quality also match the delivery of each plate. It really is a restaurant that “foodies” would seek out! Thank you!    Food and service are great . I love that south sailor always add seasonal new food to their menu as well as their wonderful fish tacos , poke bowls. and seafood dumplings . Great cocktails , mock tails and the sashimi is always fresh and vey tasty. Highly recommend !

   Disappointing Paella dish for two. Rice overcooked and gluggy, absent of any flavour and seasoning. Lacked time and love . Services was pleasant and easy.

   We had a great night. The platter for two was a perfect way to try a variety of cold and hot house specialties. Fresh, tasty, zesty and creative is how I’d describe the food. The staff were attentive, professional and friendly. I recommend you try this restaurant next time you visit Thirroul :)

   South Sailor can occasionally be good, is normally ok, but last night it was pretty bad. The kingfish ceviche was covered in a weird coconut cream sauce and blobs of a sickly sweet orange dressing which meant you could not taste the hero of the dish - the fish. The sushi rice was completely overcooked and there were more blobs of the horrible orange dressing on the salmon sushi dish too. The Korean chicken was ok - the chips were decent. Fortunately we had one dish which was great. The snapper dumplings. Not sure who was in the kitchen but must have been a different team to our last visit - where the food was really good. We will try again in a few months but sadly yet another disappointing meal in Thirroul.
