Wolfgang Puck’s legendary flagship fine dining restaurant Spago is recognized for igniting Las Vegas’s dining scene into a culinary epicenter. Puck’s revolutionary Las Vegas Strip restaurant debuts with an entirely new look and menu and the exceptional level of service for which the restaurant is best known. The restaurant is beautifully situated for al fresco dining in front of the Bellagio Fountains. Spago’s re-imagined menu features Puck’s signature California fare paired with modern technique and inspiration from his chef’s weekly trips to the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market. At lunch and dinner, the market-driven menus feature handmade pastas, wood-oven pizzas, fresh seafood, all-natural meats and prime steaks, alongside handcrafted cocktails and a robust wine list.                 Found the service started incredibly but faded after appetizers. Has to ask about entrees three times which was frustrating as we were trying to go to a show. Food was overall pretty good. Crab cakes excellent, all crab, minimal fillers. Calabrian chile prawns, excellent, slightly difficult to eat/scrap from the shell. Four of us tried 4 different pastas that ranged from excellent to very good. Highlight was Wolfgang was there, and graciously visited every single table in the main restaurant. View with fountains is a treat.

                We had an amazing experience at Spago’s this time. We were able to get a patio table so we could watch the fountains, we had an amazing meal, and dessert was a celebration that carried us through the rest of the night. 💕 we felt like celebrities with the attention we received. The managers introduced themselves, we met the new executive chief and finale Wolfgang Puck who allowed us a picture with him. We will remember that night for many years!!

                The food was too salty: octopus, scallop and pizza. Their hyped up pizza was a downer for all of us.

                Room was not open enough we felt like we were in an annex. Halibut was dry Server was going through the motions and had no personality. He was always in a hurry. We were seated by the server station. Noisy. I think we should be provided with a complimentary meal or other.

                Overall expectations just not met. I made my reservation super early of course requested a view with the expectation we at least be where we could see some of the fountain show. We arrived and told if we still wanted a view we’d have to wait 1.5 hours ! So we get seated and yes they were busy but had to ask for drinks more than once the entire time. It was loud we were seated between a really large party so table of teens on one side and parents on the other that kept going back and forth. My food was great my husbands was bland bland bland for $78. But positive is they fixed fast. Got charged for an extra wine but then corrected. Just expectations super not met. Espresso Martini was fantastic. Wine sommelier was fantastic suggested a really great glass of wine. The photographer was fun too. Very nice and really tried to make each couple look great. Multiple poses. They passed out roses to all also. Nice touch.
