It was my fiancés birthday which I made clear during the reservations. Once we got there we were seated right away. But didn’t get a server for 20 mins. He came over and apologized right away, stating he was just told we had been sat. He was very hospitable taking our drink and appetizer order. But again our drinks and bread took another 15 mins! The apps came and were delicious! But again our dinner order wasn’t taken until our apps were being wrapped up (they were HUGE! If we finished one or either we would never have eaten dinner). Our first drinks were finished and our waiter or a waiter never came around again to check on our drinks or if we needed another. We just was left with empty glasses and water. We had to ask a manager for another round of drinks stating we feel like the forgotten table. Just as we finished ordering, our dinner came. First let me state that it was phenomenal but it was cold. I am not something to send something back, but I don’t enjoy a cold fish. My fiancés steak was exactly as he ordered! Once we received the second round they stated the comped the glass for the inconvenience. I ordered a sugar cookie martini to finish. It was so thick and heavy we both were able to share it. Overall it was a nice night out. Just wish we were able to get more drinks, and warmer food.

My wife and I both enjoyed the whole dining experience. The food and the service was exceptional. I had the wedge salad appetizer which was the best I’ve ever had. Lots of crispy bacon and blue cheese crumbles. My wife enjoyed the Oysters Rockefeller. We both had the filet mignon, they were flavorful and cooked to perfection. We split the caramel tartufo dessert along with espresso and coconut martinis that complimented the meal. Our server Taylor was spot on with the timing of our courses, and a true pleasure. We have been going to New Year’s Eve dinners the past several years, and this was the best of them all. Kudos and thanks Spiro for an enjoyable evening.

We had a group of 6 for my Dad’s Birthday. I am from out of state and most restaurants from when I grew up here in the 80’s are gone so I took a shot with Spiro’s. Turns out I found a gem! We each had different entrees and appetizers and all were excellent. Service was great with them checking on us offen. Would definitely return when I come back home to visit LI.

Had a table for seven. Got the Sunday 3 course special. Stuffed 2lb lobster was fantastic as well as the Ribeye steak. Great options to choose from. Spiro’s is my go to place, it never disappoints.
