Established and opened in 1991 by Chef and Restaurateur Sergio Lazzinnaro out of Cosenza, Italy, Spolini's is an Italian restaurant that specializes in Southern-Italian culinary. Just outstanding. The service was excellent, friendly and personable, and the waiters interacted with out 2-year old granddaughter. As always, the food is first-rate and the Penne Romana is a standout. Branzino was also superb.

My dining experience was disappointing. The food was rather bland, and I was misled about my dish, expecting red snapper in white wine sauce but receiving marinara sauce instead. To add to the frustration, our appetizers and main course arrived together due to an error, and there was no compensation offered for the inconvenience.

We had a wonderful meal from start to finish. We had the antipasti, shrimp francese, and chicken parmesan and the creme brulee for dessert. We also had a wonderful Montalcino wine that they recommended, and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.
