Open for lunch (two courses/$65), brunch (three courses/$98), and dinner (three courses/$125), Spruce offers seasonal prix-fixe menus crafted by Chef Mark Sullivan. Each menu offers a wide range of options, as well as luxurious additions (examples: caviar, truffles) for supplemental prices. Our cuisines is complemented by an extensive wine list which holds "Wine Spectator" magazine's highest honor, a Grand Award. The bar/lounge is available for walk-ins on a first-come, first-serve basis. We look forward to welcoming you to Spruce soon!

    Food was awful. Halibut smelled bad and was overcooked. The short ribs had a strange taste. The endive salad was terrible. I have been to Spruce in the past and had an excellent meal. Not sure what is going on now. No excuse especially for the price.

    They seated us in a small area detached from the main dining room. It was small (4 tables) and so quiet it felt awkward to have a conversation. I would avoid this section.

While some guests enjoy the quiet ambience of the fireplace room, we completely understand preferring to be in the main dining room. We will make a note to ensure that you are not seated there on return visits.     sooooooo good! great food and wine! we were very leisurely and it was a little hard to flag the waiter down when we were finally ready, but no biggee. so good!

    We had an awesome Valentine's Day dinner at Spruce. We travelled to San Francisco for the weekend and this was our first visit to Spruce. We made a great choice. The fixed menu for the evening was great. Everything from start to finish was delicious. We opted for a nice bottle of wine with our dinner. However, the wine pairing menu looked to be great as well. The service was excellent. We will definitely return the next time that we are in the Bay Area.

    Lovely Valentine’s Day experience. The tasting menu with wine pairing was perfect. It was just the right amount of food/wine and the service was top notch. One of our favorite date spots that never disappoints!
