St. John's was built in 1905 and has since become a treasured favorite of the Capitol Hill area. They are open throughout the week and serve delicious food in an inviting, casual atmosphere. For lunch, diners can get items such as a BLT or chicken sandwich, one of their soups or house salads. Early risers on the weekend can take in one of St. John's wonderful breakfasts, such as the croque monsieur, biscuits and gravy or the Linda Ronstadt, a dish of eggs, cornbread, jalapeno butter and cumin black beans. The dinner menu is equally varied and has plates like ricotta gnocchi with a lamb/beef ragu and shrimp toasts. St. John's is proud to have a full bar with a number of specialty drinks available, making it a perfect place to unwind at the end of the day or to kick off the weekend right.
