St Thomas is an intimate Spanish inspired restaurant and wine bar by Michelin Stared Chef Quinton Bennett, located in the heart of Toronto’s historic Yorkville neighbourhood, nestled on picturesque St. Thomas Street and surrounded by mid-century and modern architecture. We celebrate the best of Basque Country cuisine and international wine by serving Pintxos and carefully curated small plates. We aim to offer a unique, cheerful wine experience by educating and informing our guests through guided tastings.

                                              We went for food and wine pairing. Although the food was delicious but the sizes were so small and having 3 tiny courses and a desert is definitely not enough for a meal. Nice wine pairing but don’t think it’s really worth the cost.

                                              Food was delicious but not the best value for money. We ordered 4 dishes including an appetizer, brought our own bottle of wine and the bill was $225 with tax and tip. The ambiance really lacked. It's a gorgeous restaurant but even at capacity was so quiet with music on. This could be improved.

                                              When we got there, the menu was far smaller than it showed online. Our server explained that they had reduced the kitchen. We popped into enigma next-door to see if they could take us but they stop serving after 845 because the kitchen has to stay open too late to accommodate all the guests. We were told repeatedly at Saint Thomas that the kitchen would be closing soon and did we want to place any additional orders. They squeezed in an extra pasta for us. The food was delicious, but the portions were way too small and the menu was way too limited. Really sad because Everything was excellent and The Room was gorgeous, but we would never go back.

                                              It was a good experience - but in some ways we left a little underwhelmed. Some dishes like the butternut cavatelli were outstanding. Generous, beautiful and very flavourful- the iberico pork xo didn’t work for me.

                                              This place is pretty unique in design and vibe. Food was excellent, general service very good and helpful, wine service less so. If vegetarian it would be advisable to contact them beforehand.

                                              Probably the best meal I've had in Toronto! Every dish was absolute perfection. I can not recommend this place enough - service is spectacular (highly attentive without being overbearing); food is perfectly balanced (must try: duck parfait, wagu flatiron, ricotta cavatelli); drinks are sublime (shadows and dust an absolute dream). Definitely the consistently better little sister to Enigma, and deserves its own star! Highly recommed end your meal with the basque cheesecake - even though I find most restaurant desserts disappointing, this one is divine. Huge thank you to manager Katherine for taking care of us - we will DEFINITELY be back!

                                              I guess with a rotating tasting menu, you are sometimes going to get some misses. Generally, we have loved the place but the latest meal was underwhelming. The first course was bland and although the meal got better as it went along, it did not hit the heights it has in the past. I look forward to the next rotation and one more note - skip the popcorn.

                                              What a gem this restaurant is. The food is so innovative, tasty and exciting. Fab bites to share and amazing bigger bites also to share. You can create your own very affordable multi course tasting menu - so much fun in gorgeous surroundings and great service. No surprise seeing the owner and creator is Chef Quinton of Enigma next door. A one of a kind in Toronto bringing us world-class dining.
