Part wine bar, part restaurant, a city centre venue with a city centre buzz. St. Vincent is an after-work drinks spot, supper-with-friends place and general 'snack-with-a-glass-or-two' hang out with a big-hearted 'everybody welcome' attitude. 

Inspired by the neighbourhood bars we've found on our travels through France and Italy, we offer interesting wines, charcuterie and crowd pleasing plates full of punchy flavours. We're a place where an hour spins into several without anyone noticing. 

Open evenings Tuesday to Friday, all day Saturday and close late.

    Incredible food but the highlight was the staff. Warm, friendly and made you feel like you were having dinner in their home rather than the transactional relationship some restaurants choose to centre. When we were late because of weather they were understanding and made sure we knew there was no rush and gave us space to get settled and relaxed before ordering. Every interaction was lovely. The oysters and lamb were highlights, along with the cocktails. But the staff are the jewel in the crown for sure. As a local it’s my new favourite restaurant in Newcastle.

    Pre cinema dinner - polite, relaxed but efficient service. Good busy atmosphere. Food was all good, especially the scallops. Really good bottle of vinho verde.

    Food, service, vibe. Just Great. A small plate with a drink at the bar or a leisurely meal with a nice bottle of wine, St Vincent knows how to do it. Thank you.

    Shame, we didn’t feel this was very special. Good was ok but service rushed. Not advised on sides, not asked for drinks. Back to 21 again next year for our celebrations

    A Christmas Eve treat which didn’t disappoint. This wasn’t our first visit because every time we go we enjoy excellent food, wine and service. It manages to be relaxed and unpretentious whilst delivering amazing food and making you feel like you matter. Brilliant!

    We regularly dine at St Vincent’s and always receive a warm welcome, excellent food and attentive service. Even though it was extremely busy we still received a high standard of service and good quality food. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a relaxed but vibrant atmosphere, interesting food, a huge range of wines and a good night out with family, friends or colleagues this is the best place in Newcastle for a good night out. Thank you to all the staff.

    Really nice place, great ambience and decor and the service was excellent, friendly and professional in equal measure, we felt welcomed Value for money, the fixed price menu offers great value, the dishes if bought individually seemed a little expensive for what you get but the quality was definitely there. We will be back for sure
