Stanza Italian Bistro & Wine Bar is Salt Lake City’s go-to spot for fresh, modern Italian cuisine. Our Executive Chef has created an amazing menu with tastes of Italy and a contemporary take on a traditional cuisine.

Located a few minutes walk from the heart of downtown, we are perfect for dining before shows and concerts and even U of U football games. And, with private dining space we can host private parties ranging from 10-100.

For casual dining or celebrations in your life, please come in and enjoy the gifts of good food and good wine with your family and friends.

Tables for parties less than five will be reserved for a maximum of two hours, please let us know in advance if you would prefer additional dining time and we can accommodate your request.

    It is a travesty that this restaurant is closing. It's a fantastic venue with delicious food and great service. We need more places like this and less chain restaurants! We've spent several birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, and numerous "just because" dates here; we're just incredibly sad that this was our last meal here. So many memories... It's really a crying shame that crappy downtown restaurants are supported, and finer dining places with inventive entrees, quality ingredients and exceptional service aren't. Farewell, Stanza. It's been an absolute pleasure to have had so many meals here.

    The burrata is divine. I had the 9 grain tagliatelle, and it was also wonderful. My daughter also had the burrata, but added chicken, and she enjoyed every bite.

    Food and service were great. Not as busy as I thought it would have been, which is fine. It’s a bit pricy for what you get portion wise.

    Great service by Tanner. The appetizers and entrees were delicious. Dessert was little to be desired. Great place overall. Would highly recommend!
