   We have been a few times and it is a very lovely restaurant but this time they were not ready for us when we arrived and the restaurant was empty. The food was good however was cold when it arrived at the table. Again, if the restaurant was busy, I might be more understanding about the temperature of the food but as the restaurant was empty, it was very disappointing. The server was good, and quite attentive. Overall, I expect more especially for the price.

   We went on a long overdue double date with our besties. What I enjoyed most was, it was a real dining experience. Most places want you in and out so they can turn your table 3-4 times. There was no rush. It was fantastic. The server let us set the pace, she checked in periodically with no pressure. It’s a little pricey but worth it.

   Generally, this place is excellent. Haven’t been in a couple of months, but it seems as though they have changed the menu and the quality.this also used to seem like a premium restaurant, however the amount of kids and the fact they have grilled cheese on the menu now seems as though this place is trying to cater To everyone. For a $150 for 2 people the food was not worth it anymore.

   We visited Starbelly for date night. We hadn’t been in a few years and were excited to visit again. Sadly, we were disappointed. The service was excellent. We started off with the pork belly appetizer, it was dry the menu states that it has spicy cheddar grits with smoked Apple-jalapeno purée. It just tastes like applesauce from a jar. We then had the steak, the meat, though tender was under seasoned even though it said that it was coffee salt crusted. They missed the mark on this. I think that Starbelly can do much better.

   Enjoyed an early supper at Starbelly’s tonight. Staff were attentive. Food good. Enjoyed all the food but special mention to the bacon wrapped dates. The salmon bowl was tasty but could be a bit bigger overall.

   I’ve been here several years ago and it was so great to see that this place has maintained their high level of quality when it comes to both food and service. Both my friend and I enjoyed what we had for brunch and our server was attentive and engaging. It made for a very pleasant Sunday morning. I’ve been to Starbelly both for dinner and now brunch and neither of those menus disappoint!

    Quiet time of day / day of week so very quick service / attentive, but not rushed. Tasty food, pricing and portions (especially with Harvest Mondays promotion of discounted bowls, salads) just right. Open and airy so a little cooler on a colder day today.
