    We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learning about the farm to table roasting process. our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Our disappointment stems from the fact that we could only hear a portion of his explanations as the noise level in the reserve was highly energetic and the guide was not wearing a mic. This would have moved our rating up to a string 4+.

    This review is for the Seattle Roastery Tour & Tasting. I wouldn't recommend it. I was disappointed. The format felt disjointed, with long explanations of the coffees that often felt disconnected from the overall experience. We spent a significant portion of the tour walking, which made it difficult to hear the guide's commentary. It just felt like there was a lot of flow disruption which made it challenging to fully engage with the information. While I learned some interesting historical facts about Starbucks, I felt the overall experience was underwhelming. At approximately $50 (including tax), I believe this tour is overpriced for what you get. Now the actual Starbucks Reserve™ Seattle Roastery is cool to go to on its own. They have a bakery that had pastries (other than the typical ones you see at your local Starbucks), a lot of chairs and tables for people to enjoy their coffee at, cute merchandise and of course, coffee. I would say visit it, but do not pay for the tour.
