This review is for the Seattle Roastery Tour & Tasting. I wouldn't recommend it. I was disappointed. The format felt disjointed, with long explanations of the coffees that often felt disconnected from the overall experience.
We spent a significant portion of the tour walking, which made it difficult to hear the guide's commentary. It just felt like there was a lot of flow disruption which made it challenging to fully engage with the information.
While I learned some interesting historical facts about Starbucks, I felt the overall experience was underwhelming. At approximately $50 (including tax), I believe this tour is overpriced for what you get.
Now the actual Starbucks Reserve™ Seattle Roastery is cool to go to on its own. They have a bakery that had pastries (other than the typical ones you see at your local Starbucks), a lot of chairs and tables for people to enjoy their coffee at, cute merchandise and of course, coffee.
I would say visit it, but do not pay for the tour.
