Stark's Steakhouse in Santa Rosa, California, is an upscale eatery that takes a modern approach to sustainable seafood and steak. The in-house dry aged meat is served a la carte and guests can also enjoy an extensive menu of international and local wine, creative cocktails and more than 60 whiskeys.

Try the Stark's Steakhouse special roasted bone marrow starter served with truffle honey and sea salt before enjoying a steak with toppers like truffle fried egg, mushroom and onions or blue cheese butter. Vegetarians have options on the menu as well and guests shouldn't leave Stark's Steakhouse without a look at the extensive dessert menu.

Christmas Eve dinner. Party of three. High satisfaction level, as usual! Stark’s Seafood and Steak is our holiday meal go to. I make the same thing every holiday…. reservations at Stark’s. Festive decorations, a welcoming holiday atmosphere. Our server was warm, affable, professional without hovering. Just right. We all ordered appetizers, and the mussels were the unanimous winner. Little ones in a sauce worthy of sopping up with a second order of bread. My daughter ordered her favorite butter fish with sticky rice and it met her expectations again. The other two of us had the lobster, so perfectly prepared. Again. Generous portions left us too full for dessert, and memories of a lovely holiday meal . Thank you.

We had later reservations but were able to sit in bar area a bit easier, which we liked as it was a bit more lively. Large portion starters and salad. We shared the grass fed filet which was perfect. The baked potato was not very fluffy and the skin was not crisp, almost as if it had been reheated. The calamari starter was average, nothing special. Bread was a filler, but tasty. Salad was a bit overdressed. We love the Stark restaurants and will be back to try the Caesar salad.
