We were very disappointed in our dinner this evening. Normally we enjoy state and main but this evening we left wishing we had went elsewhere. I had booked for my spouses birthday and asked for a low table. We were given a high table with stools with no backs. Not very comfortable especially for children. Our server was not attentive. We ordered our food and half of the food came out at different times and my meal must have been forgotten about. Only mains were ordered. I asked about it 3 times and by the time I got my meal the rest of our table had finished. No apology from our server. This is unacceptable. No compensation. The only one who checked on my food was another server who later brought it for me who was friendly. The food tasted good for the most part but to be honest it didn’t make up for the poor service. I still feel very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend our particular server at all. It seemed like she just hoped I’d forget I ordered a meal and was inexperienced. This hasn’t been my usual experience there but tonight left a lot to be desired. I won’t be returning anytime soon with service like that.

We had the bison burgers. They were a bit over cooked. My accompanying salad was delicious and I recommend the Old Fashioned as a cocktail: it was very good. It was a hockey night so it was quite loud and it took awhile for a server to notice us once we sat down.

The service was terrible no one noticed and it took us to wave someone down have multiple failed attempts. It happened to be the manager who was very apologetic and helped us the rest of the night, but it was not a good start. Our food was ok, we had lettuce wraps , very very peanuty almost just like a paste, and my main was bland I had their tuna poke bowl. Husband had their crispy chicken sandwich and he enjoyed his.

For being a Wednesday this place was swamped, especially the area of the restaurant I was seated in. Our server was doing the best she could. We were a booked reservation for six and it was known as our table was reserved with sign. We were seated back by the deck entry and exit. As the place was busy in our area and not very busy in the rest of the restaurant our server was only around sporadically. They could of used more help in her area would have fixed this issue. Food was very good.

I'm giving a 3 across the board because I reserved a table for 12 but upon arriving they booked only for 10. To move us the only spot was at 2 seperate tables which couldn't be moved together. One guest had a bad meal with her food been hand handled without gloves and nothing done about it, then their burger was over cooked and no offer of a remake.

It was good. It was very crowded due to an event in town over the weekend so it was a little loud and crowded. Otherwise it was fine.
