Inspired by the West Coast upbringing of its founders, STATE Food + Drink combines a love for local ingredients with a mission to create a sense of place and belonging. Through a commitment to sustainability, seasonality, and community, the restaurant offers an inviting space where people can gather, connect, and enjoy fresh, flavorful cuisine. Established September 2024 and located in Greylock WORKS in the Northern Berkshires.

                                  After visiting State on multiple occasions, I can wholeheartedly attest to its exceptional qualities. The passionate team exudes a warmth and professionalism that creates an inviting atmosphere, while the food they serve is nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish is an expression of creativity and flavor, pushing the boundaries of the local culinary scene and poised to redefine and elevate the food landscape of the region.

                                  No other words other than an exquisite dining experience. Food was delicious and plentiful. The family style dining experience was wonderful. Conversations were continuous, and everyone was friendly. The chef’s came out both at the beginning and the end to thank everyone and express their gratitude for the evening. Would highly recommend!

                                  Loved our dining experience at State. Smoked carrot tartare was wonderful and so unique. At our table we had pork, steak and stroganoff. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Grabbing cocktails at the distillery will be on the agenda at our next visit. Thanks Tu and Matt!

                                  I had the pleasure of being town when the space had a special, delicious menu via co-owner Tu Le. Tu, Willis and the staff were amazing. The food was delicious. Book without hesitation. Willis surprised me with a slice of their decadent flourless chocolate cake with a lit candle and he humorously got a few tables to join in in singing me happy birthday. It was tongue & check, but warmed my soul. I can’t wait to come back.

                                  A little Brooklyn vibe in the Berkshires. The aesthetic is industrial/warmth with gorgeous flowers. Candles & art all around. The food is top notch & beautifully presented. The servers are attentive without hovering. I can’t wait to go back!
