At Steak 48 in Charlotte, we serve the finest steaks and high-quality seafood in an intimate and vibrant setting. The diverse menu at our Charlotte steakhouse location will satisfy any personal craving, as we serve the best USDA prime steaks, succulent seafood and shellfish along with inventive and classically inspired side dishes and appetizers.     Best steakhouse in Charlotte North Carolina. And I’ve been to all of them . State 48 would give the Palm restaurant a run for their money.

    Everything was so amazing for my best friend's 40th birthday dinner. It's our favorite restaurant and we drove all the way from Raleigh just to celebrate here and have a great meal. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful experience....as always!

    I found the restaurant to be pretentious and overpriced. Filet was so spiced could not taste meat. King crab/avacoda plate tasted like crab was yesterday's left over crab ground to a paste. Service was much too 'hands on' and bothersome. Not at all a good experience

    The food was delicious but we did not have a good server. He was distracted by another nearby table the entire evening so we did not enjoy our service. He brought my husband the wrong drink and then insisted it was right, until my husband asked him to go back and ask the bartender if that was the right old fashion. It was not but the bartender corrected the order and sent out the right drink. Then our server started pulling my bread plate away while I was still eating the bread on it because he was looking over at the other nearby table. My dad asked him for more bread which never came. I ordered a cocktail and told him I wanted a glass of wine with my meal. He took my wine glass away and never brought the wine or asked about my wine order again. I ordered a cup of decaf after dinner and as I was talking to him about the dessert, I looked up and he had walked away to attend to the other nearby table again. I literally had to wave him down to get his attention to finish my dessert order. Also when our meal was being served, my hot dinner plate had brown spots on it. I’m sure it was from the sizzling steaks splatters, but just not a good look to place an unclean plate on the table. We have been to Steak 48 several times and this was the first time we have had poor service like this.

    It was our first time eating here, and we were excited to celebrate a friend's birthday and my husband's retirement. We sat at a table in the back corner with a speaker playing music so loud, that we could barely have a conversation without yelling.
