The restaurant was founded in 2023 by owner Stella Spanu, a Boulder local. Honoring her Italian heritage and embracing her passion for food and hospitality, Spanu’s philosophy is to have a dining experience that stimulates all senses by incorporating visual art, design, music, premier service, comfortable seating and fresh, authentic Italian cuisine. The space, an Art Deco inspiration, was conceptualized and built by architect Miguel Quismondo.

Stella's is showcasing a world-class menu, highlighting traditions from all over Italy, with house-made pastas with imported ingredients directly from Italy, and locally sourced ingredients from Colorado farms. The menu is accompanied by an extensive selection of Italian wines and specialty cocktails.

Friday and Saturday, after dinner service, the space will transform into a lounge with a dance floor with a state-of-the-art sound system, while guests are encouraged to enjoy beverages, the dance floor, and a wide variety of music.

    STELLA'S invites you to join us for San Valentino's dinner! Join us in our beautifully intimate space for a carefully curated 4-course experience by Executive Chef Piersimone D'Anna, sommelier-selected wine pairings, and live music from one of our resident artists. Experience STELLA'S at its finest! *PLEASE NOTE* Reservations will be honored for up to 2.5hrs including at the bar and high-tops. Any cancellations within 72hrs are subject to Stella's Cucina's cancellation/no show fee of $25/person. Due to the nature of our menu, we cannot accommodate all dietary restrictions. Please reach out with at least 72hrs notice to discuss. We appreciate your understanding!

                                                          Stella’s has great cuisine and ambiance. Though the value isn’t always there. Portions are high quality but can be a bit small especially for prix fixe menu.

                                                          A real delight in all respects! Acoustics are well-controlled so one can hear both music and conversation. I had the truffle starter with egg yolk in Parmesan, really excellent and not too heavy. Focaccia was a great way to scoop up the egg. Venison medallions for the main were also terrific. The Sommelier recommended wine was good but despite being 2012 to a while to open up. Decanting helped. Didn’t stay for dessert due to leftovers of same at home.

                                                          We had a pleasant experience from the moment we were greeted by the host for dinner until the very end. Margaret took very good care of our table. Will definitely return.

                                                          The decor, music, and hostess were fabulous. Our waiter was rude and didn’t put in our full order, so our sides can out after we’d finished our main course. The bread was undercooked and tough. The appetizers were passable, nothing special. The cavatelli with mushrooms was the worst pasta dish we’ve ever had. Risotto was only okay. Grilled veggies were salty. We mentioned this and they didn’t charge us for them. We’d eaten down the street at Cozobi a few night before and the meal was exceptional. Go there instead!

                                                          Food was good. Ambiance is excellent. Only issue was one of our guests was served his meal well before we received ours due to an error in planning in the kitchen. His options were to eat the dinner early or have it go back to the kitchen and sit under a heat lamp. It was his birthday btw. A nice restaurant in a bigger city would have corrected their error and remade the dish without our knowledge so we would have had a flawless meal. Other than this issue, the meal was lovely.

                                                          We’ve been here several times now. The deconstructed Italian menu misses the mark. Especially with the teeny tiny portion sizes and enormous bill.
