Our new year set menu for one - 'Stick To What You Love' is only available in January 12pm - 6pm. Here, it's all about the sticks from the grill, miso soup and rice - hot and comforting. After all, we're a sushi restaurant even for those who don't like fish. Choose the Sticks Menu for a winter warmer (£19.50) Miso Soup STICKS (x5) -Shake Teriyaki -Tsukune Chilli -Ramu Niku -Shishito Yaki -Momo Nanban Rice (With Crunchy chilli, teriyaki, or chilli dip) OR, Dive into the Sea Menu for a lighter lunch (£19.50) Miso Soup Grilled Edamame Seaweed Salad Rice Paper Shake Rice (With Crunchy chilli, teriyaki, or chilli dip) Available every day throughout January from 12pm-6pm. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre and bland or had overpowering garlic flavor. Wagyu steak was fine- not more. Nigiri selection rather small and limited to the usual fish selection with yellowtail being the “highlight”. I’m happy to pay more for good quality food but this bill was not in proportion to the quality and taste. Lastly, the acoustics were strange in such way, that we could hardly hear each other at the same table, however the conversations of tables further back echoed and were very audible. I would not come back or recommend it.

The waitress was very pleasant, attentive and helpful in selecting an appropriate selection of food. Food was excellent, price quite reasonable. A good buzz in the restaurant, busy but not but not overwhelming. A very well managed establishment.

Reservation didn’t seem to matter, we were asked to queue and seated behind 2 people who walked in without reservation at same time. Then seated near door which was constantly open because of queue. Cold, wouldn’t go back

Usually the experience is great but this time, the servers got the order wrong twice. In addition we asked for a wedding celebration dessert or something towards the end, and they forgot. When I prompted them as a reminder, they brought out a dessert with a candle and wished happy birthday….it was a total disaster. Very disappointed considering I spent nearly £180 for 3 people.
