I had a great dinner at Sticks n Sushi in Tivoli Gardens. The food was beautifully presented and tasted really delicious, just as you can expect from Sticks n Sushi. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was good. This was the second time I had dined at Sticks n Sushi in the past two weeks, as I prefer eating there over many other sushi restaurants out there because I think they do it well.
The only thing I would complain about a bit was the wait time. On one hand, it’s understandable because it was a Friday night when we dined there and it was busy, but at the same time, it was a bit odd when we got to dessert, and the waiter told us that our time was up and that others needed our table. We were kindly asked if we could move to a high chair in the corner near the restroom to eat our dessert there.
When I dine at Sticks n Sushi, I always pay for good food, and I don’t skimp on the orders. So, it was a bit strange that we were suddenly asked to have our dessert at another table when we got to that point. We were informed that others needed the table now. As I see it, it wasn’t our fault that our time was up and how long it was reserved for us as customers, especially since there was a considerable wait time between our various courses.
The wait time was again an issue when we were about to leave and asked for the bill. We asked two different waiters for our bill, and they said they would bring it, but then forgot all about it, and we stood there waiting and waiting. It was only when we approached the third waiter that we actually ended up getting our bill and paying. Not very optimal. However, I would still recommend Sticks n Sushi over many other sushi restaurants out there because, all in all, they do an excellent job.
