We had a beautiful meal here on Christmas Eve with our family, the food was absolutely delicious, the staff warm and friendly, food came quickly and it was really good value for the incredible food we ate. I think the signature Sticky Mango pudding is the best pudding I have ever eaten.! Overall it was outstanding!

Sticky Mango on the south bank is close to all the great Southbank Centre venues. The food is fabulous, we had the scallops, the black pepper prawns and shared a very spicy salad for starters and followed up with the monk fish and the king prawn pad thai. Choosing what to have was the hardest part as I could so easily have chosen most of the menu. The service was good without being intrusive and the wines were excellent we started with a very reasonably priced glass of champagne and followed that with an excellent French white.

Not as good as in the osst We ordered the set meal for the first time. Not great The waste was sick cough g a d sneezing and should not have been working Three dirty plates had to be sent back

Two stars or a “fair” rated for a few different reasons. The food was broadly fine with nothing wrong, the pork belly would get a “good” rating. But it felt like most food was cooked for Instagram rather than working as a dish. Meat and fish all came out a bit dry (excl. pork), and the protein portions were stingy for the price point. Tables were sticky and the basement was stuffy (so we asked to move). Glassware was dirty / watermarked on both tables. Wine reasonably priced. Slightly surprised that staff didn’t once top us up - no major issue with this, but given the vibe they’re going for it seemed strange. Service was ok, although a lack of experience was clear - but that will improve with time. Toilets were not in the best shape. Overall, had hoped for more.

Really enjoyed the food and the ambience. We had three courses each and they were all excellent. The restaurant was busy, even on a Wednesday. It felt like our waiter was new. The service was a little less attentive than ideal, but very friendly and helpful. Will happily go back.
