Great menu! We had the lamb shank and the salmon and shrimp pasta dishes. They were both delicious and the portions were generous. The servers are sincerely friendly. Looking out over the Grand river makes this restaurant unique especially in the warmer weather when you can sit outside. We are never disappointed!請問這對你有幫助嗎？

We've eaten at Stillwater before and had enjoyed ourselves. Good food, great service This time was a disappointment. It started when we came in. The hostess seemed to greet us with a "oh two more people" kind of attitude. No smile, no welcome, just acknowledgement We were seated and quickly enough we were greeted by our server. She seemed pleasant enough. The meal was mediocre. The big fail was on the vegetables. They were bland. My wife's beans were under cooked, I had a huge mound of mashed potatoes which was exceptionally ordinary. Seemed like they were over compensating with quantity over quality. We were brought our desert, never asked if we wanted coffee or anything else. And then the bill arrived. I had wanted a coffee but never had the opportunity to ask for it. It was like they just wanted to get us out. I get that staff can have an off day but everyone? What I saw was wait staff "just getting the job done". To the detriment of the dinner experience. The mediocre meal and the "we don't care that much attitude" is not the way to run a restaurant when the cost of dining out is as high as it is. I have had better meals and service, a better experience, at pubs. A great view of the river will only go so far in mitigating a poor dining experience.
