STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

    Everything was incredible! Truffle fries and cheeseburger egg rolls for apps were fantastic. For dinner we chose the filet paired with the goat cheese ravioli and it was amazing. And the drinks - so good! You have to try the house made tonic water your drink! Service was top notch.

    For my birthday dinner, we decided to try Stir since we had not visited here previously and had heard rave reviews from friends and co-workers. What an amazing time the six of us had together. Our waiter was very attentive and took his time to tell us all about the Stir and its history. He described several of the dishes in detail and answered all the questions we had. From the oysters to our dinners and topping off with chocolate Creme Brulle, we left with full tummies and much laughter. The goat cheese ravioli were divine as well as everything we ate. Highly recommend this restaurant for a fun, enjoyable night out.

    We had the lobster Mac & cheese and the center cut filet. The shrimp in the Mac & cheese were delicious but it could have used more lobster. It was more like shrimp Mac & cheese. The filet was well cooked and the sauce was delicious. Way too many potatoes and needed to cook the broccolini a tad more. Stir old fashioned cocktail was good.

    Food, cocktail, and service was great. Parking was a real challenge, due to not finding any curbside parking, and having to park in public parking lot across the street, which was $11.00 for just over an hour.

    The food was great. Several things on menu are good. We like this place a lot. Our waitress was the best! I was disappointed in dessert choices. Seems weak for restaurant this good! Otherwise terrific

    Maleigha was our server. She was perfect. Very friendly and attentive. Made our evening enjoyable. I had the sesame steak bowl and my husband had the steak frites. Both were well prepared and tasty. Cocktails were great - my STIR Old Fashioned was incredible. Had the special Chocolate mousse martini for dessert and it was delicious. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.
