STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

Food overall was great . The Bao bun and Volcano roll appetizers were out of this world! Too bad you can’t get them as a dinner option. The order of steak frites was just so so, should have stuck with the Mahi Mahi that I’ve had before. Our order of steak and goat cheese ravioli was also very flavorful. Will be back, great atmosphere and good solid menu choices!

STIR is always great. The service and food is excellent. Their crab bisque is as good as any you can get on the coast. Chicken Piccata was excellent.

Our first visit definitely won’t be our last. Food was excellent, prices reasonable, wait staff attentive.

Went here for a date night. They had an incredible special with a 24 oz porterhouse for two, it was the most delicious and well thought out meal that either of us have had in years. Everything from the service to the food to the drinks to the ambiance was incredible. I could not recommend it highly enough. Chris was our waiter, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole night!

Excellent service. The $18 carafe of mimosas is a killer steal! Food was good not excellent but definitely affordable and worth it!

We were greeted and seated quickly. There was no need for us to make a reservation, because there were plenty of tables available. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Our server was extremely nice. We ordered drinks but they were sour and had to be returned. The food was not exceptional. We ordered dessert. Appetizers and a main meal and they were just ok! Nothing that would bring us back. I am glad we tried STIR, but it will not be a place that I would recommend to others.
