                                Spending new years at STK Denver was the best decision ever. Our waiter Thomas was amazing, with the best attitude and hyping up our last night of 2024. The restaurant gave out free champagne to toast for the new year as well as a lot of new year gear. It was an amazing vibe and ambience to spend the New Year's Eve. The DJ was spectacular. All the song choices fit the night perfectly and it was just a vibe. The food was amazing, from the starters to the entrees to the dessert, even the drinks and coffee. Everything tasted perfectly, and the wagyu umami butter, amazing! Extremely recommend this place, worth the money and time!

                                Food- 0/5 Super mid & very expensive. Steak cooked exactly how we ordered it, which is good but came out cold lacking flavor, it needed salt, butter, etc Mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes doctored up, asparagus was cooked well but overly salted that made it inedible. Ambiance- 2/5 It’s dark inside but overall looked nice and maintained. Restaurant was very loud, DJ inside was blasting music so loud we had to scream at each other across the table to have a conversation & no we were not sitting by the DJ booth. Service - 3/5 The servers were nice, they were busy, they were attentive but also too busy to care. Value - 0/5 Dinner for 2 = $385 Very expensive compared to other fine ding steakhouses in the metro area. 1 porterhouse steak (shareable) , 2 sides, 1 starter, 4 cocktails total. Overall we love fine dining but this isn’t it, definitely will not be returning.

                                Granted it was New Year’s Eve but we were in a side room away from the main are and DJ. Very noisy with people not music. Waiter was great but service slow. Even drinks. And $25 a cocktail is silly. My whiskey was full of ice and maybe 3 sips for $25. Prob won’t go again

                                I'll start by saying it was New Year's Eve so we were well aware that is was going to be very busy. We arrived about 10 minutes late for our reservation but were seating quickly. Our server met us in a reasonable amount of time and got us drinks. Our appetizer of calamari came out also in a reasonable amount of time given how busy it was. The calamari was just OK, not bad, not great. After that, everything just went off the rails fast. For nearly an hour our dinners never showed up. Our server would come by every so often to fill our water glass but not once said, "Hey I'm sorry it's taking so long. I'll go check to see what's happening." From the time we sat down, it was 90 minutes until our server finally asked us if everything was OK. We explained that it wasn't OK and that we had been waiting a very long time for our food. She said she would check on it and we told her not to bother. I didn't want to give them over $200 for the experience we already had. The server went to her manager and they comped what we already had. No manager came over to check on us. They shouldn't have made their server deal with the situation. Others around us had a similar experience. There are some great reviews here about STK but we'll never know as this will be our one and only time to come here.

                                One of the bartender ladies was really rude. Ordered a simple beer, got charged but too her 15min to acknowledge me because I didn’t get it. Then when I finally got her attention she said give me a minute which ended up being 10 more for a total of 25min waiting for a Modelo!

                                This place is Overpriced and overrated. Service was basic and all the sides taste exactly same (cheese sauce).

                                Food was incredible, what a wonderful way to spend New Year’s Eve!! It was disappointing that we had a 6:30 reservation and were not sat until 7:15 but otherwise a great experience.

                                New Years Eve. Kitchen slow and server even commented difficult night and have too many reservations. Rare steak came out well done. In a steakhouse and $98 for steak this should not happen. Did redo steak and was better but others had finished eating. $25 for cocktails seemed excessive. Server even said quality not up to par for this evening. Dont think i would go back.
