STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Midtown is located in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from the bustling Theatre District. STK Midtown includes an outdoor patio and separate bar during summer months. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. With a chic and modern mindset, STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Crispy Lobster Tail; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jumbo Lump Crab Salad.

                                We were seated on the worst table I have ever sat on it was right in the walkway of people and we waited for our food for over an hour !!! The noise was horrendous way too loud !!! Very bad experience which is a shame as I have visited many STK restaurants. Very disappointing on my trip to New York !!

                                The place is nice and have a great ambience. Food was modest and server was ok. Unfortunately I requested a rear steak, and arrived harder than a stone, and extremely overcooked. You would not expect that for a $91 ribeye filet. So I ended eating alone while the rest of my peers had already finished.

                                Our server could have been more attentive, and I saw the sommelier roll his eyes when our waitress said we'd only be getting one bottle of wine. Food was incredible, but were oversold on sides when we asked how large the were. Despite the service problems, I would come back because our party of 8 all had perfect steaks and enjoyed our time there.

                                Servers were not as attentive to my liking. I add to ask for a refill of water. I should have taken advantage of the happy hour. Better pricing and variety. Steak sizes are small. Should be larger (wishful thinking for steak lovers). Hostesses were friendly. They sang the birthday song to me. It would have been nice if the restaurant offered a treat (cup cake, cookie, etc.) for special occasions. Music was perfect. Not too loud. I enjoyed the DJ. Thanks

                                As a Muslim I was served food that was covered in a sauce that had wine in it and I’m not supposed to consume such thing due to religious reasons.When asking the server he wasn’t straight up and told me it didn’t have wine and when I asked again they confirmed with me.No one came to check up during my time there and it wasn’t nice at all.

                                Our server, I think his name was Ronnie?, was absolutely amazing. He really made the experience great. He had us laughing every time he came to the table and we loved him! We got the porterhouse to share and a side of Brussels sprouts and a side of mac and cheese. The sides were amazing. The mac was so creamy and delicious and the Brussels were so flavorful and the bacon in it was delicious. That being said, the star of the show - the steak - was not great. They serve it on a room temp plate so it gets cold very quickly. It was very dry even though we got it medium rare and it was cooked to the correct temperature. It was a good vibe in the restaurant and I truly wish the steak was better. Also - at the end of our meal, two women walked in with a dog and they were seated at a table INSIDE two tables away from us. I am the biggest dog lover, I have two of my own and love to take them for OUTDOOR dining, but having a dog inside of a restaurant sitting at the booth with its head all over the table was a massive turnoff for me. This was when I decided I won’t be coming back to eat here. Even the table next to us (directly next to the dog) was watching in disgust when they realized there was a dog inside right next to them while they were eating.
