STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Midtown is located in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from the bustling Theatre District. STK Midtown includes an outdoor patio and separate bar during summer months. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. With a chic and modern mindset, STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Crispy Lobster Tail; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jumbo Lump Crab Salad.

                                We had a reservation for New Year's Eve at 11:30 PM at STK Midtown and, while a slight wait was expected, the 45-minute delay was frustrating. We decided to grab drinks at the bar, which was understandably crowded. After a few minutes, two seats opened up, and we promptly took them. However, our attempts to order two Proseccos were met with indifference from the bartender, who claimed he wasn't taking orders. Despite our repeated attempts to get the attention of other bartenders, we were ignored for over 25 minutes. And I heard 2 people next to me ordering drinks & it was with the bartender that told me he wasn’t taking orders. I was confused. Eventually, we received complimentary drinks for the New Year's Eve celebration, but the initial neglect left a sour taste. While the service at our table was acceptable after we were finally seated, the inattentive bar service significantly impacted our overall experience. Given the high prices at STK, such poor service is unacceptable. Our previous experience at STK Meatpacking was exceptional, making this Midtown visit particularly disappointing.

                                We were sat in what looked like an add on , outside area with a roof. We ordered drinks which took 40 minutes to come as the waiter dropped our drinks to another table by mistake. The service was slow and one man that was working there in our area couldn’t take drink orders/ food etc , I’m not actually sure why he was even there. Our food came and I asked for a red wine sauce , I had to ask three waiters. By the time my sauce came my partner had finished his meal and mine was freezing. I had to ask two people for a manager to complain. At the countdown we couldn’t even hear it because we were shoved in this area .. no atmosphere and overall we were VERY disappointed. We had booked this restaurant in advance to ensure we could celebrate new years and enjoy it! But in the end we left disappointed!!

                                We had such a great experience at STK last night. We had the porterhouse, calamari, fries and tagliatelle and it was all so good. Cameron our waiter was the best! What a great way to close out 2024!

                                It was just straight up terrible, we have been to STK many times both in midtown and across the country and we have never had such a terrible experience all around. Waiting 35 minutes for a server, having to get our own water, being served way overcooked steak with no knives. Missing sides. Poorly run. Just a shame what happened there
