We had a dream to bring traditional and nearly lost Italian dishes to Atlanta. The result: Storico Fresco Alimentari, quite simply an Italian grocery store and restaurant in one. We’ve gone beyond and created a true Italian experience for you to enjoy. We use locally sourced ingredients to craft our authentic dishes.

    Location , Service were great, food is good but nothing unique. Tables were closer to each other and very congested. Some people may find it overwhelming and too noisy.

    We love Storico! One of our absolute go to favorites in the city! The best atmosphere! At one time they had the best old fashioned in the city, the Smoked Old Fashioned. Please bring it back! Please also bring back the date salad but I’d settle for the Smoked Old Fashioned!

    Not a great experience unfortunately. I brought my husband there for our anniversary lunch because your online menu showed pizza but we did not see any pizza… his favorite dish is cacio e pepe, and it was not good. I ordered the bolognese but received some sort of lasagna. Our poor waitress barely spoke English so I don’t think she knew what I was trying to order. We muddled through but not was not a good meal.

    food was very blend and service was poor even though at lunch time hardly any customers. Very disappointed

    Took 20 mins after our reservation time to seat us, the server was barely present and hard to find, and my parents and I had to shout to hear each other because it was so loud even though the restaurant wasn’t packed. Food was phenomenal though!

    Storico Fresco left us unsatisfied. Avoid wasting money on this restaurant. We expected a warm, fluffy focaccia, but we received an over baked, crunchy, flat, heavily salted disappointment instead. We both agreed that it tasted like a saltine cracker. The other appetizers are pricey, and I highly doubt that they’re worth trying if they couldn’t get our bread right. The cacio e pepe wasn’t good. the pasta was undercooked, cold, and overly salty. The lasagna was visibly burnt and inedible. We sent the lasagna back and ordered the rigatoni with vodka sauce instead, but it was also VERY salty. The Rosmarino Sour was a great well balanced cocktail. I believe that’s the only thing we truly enjoyed. I think it’s also important that I mention when I booked this reservation I noted twice that this dinner was supposed to be a birthday celebration for my friend and nobody ever acknowledged her or offered dessert or anything. I definitely do not recommend coming here for any celebrations because they don’t seem to care about things like that. Although we left hungry and disappointed, we paid for our overpriced dinner. Despite this restaurant having positive reviews, we had a bad experience, and I don’t think we have a good reason to revisit. Atlanta just has much better Italian restaurants to offer than Storico Fresco located in Buckhead. I really hope that they make some improvements to the food they serve their paying customers.

    Great food as always. Only annoyance was not splitting the tab for us.
