Storico Fresco has now fully morphed into a true Italian Alimentari e Ristorante that started in a basement in Atlanta …

We had a dream to bring traditional and nearly lost Italian dishes to Atlanta. The result: Storico Fresco Alimentari, quite simply an Italian grocery store and restaurant in one. We’ve gone beyond and created a true Italian experience for you to enjoy. We use locally sourced ingredients to craft our authentic dishes.

    Our server was very nice, friendly, attentive when needed. The food was delicious, a great hidden gem of a restaurant! Only minor complaint I would have was the noise level. Loud from everyone talking and enjoying themselves, but not unbearably so.

    It was SO Loud! The table beside us was so disruptive and loud, using very foul language. I just don't believe that the "F" word is appropriate in a "nicer, upscale" restaurant. This was a Monday evening, so it wasn't a Friday night crowd. The wait staff did not encourage them to be a bit quieter..... The more people drink the louder it gets in a restaurant, unfortunately. The pasta was cooked to absolute perfection, but it was not "arribbiate" to Italian standards... In other words, it was NOT picante (spicy) at all. But that's just me, being Italian. The drink I had, maybe had a tablespoon or less of Bombay Sapphire, instead of 1 jigger or 1 ounce, that was bit disappointing. We did arrived early, and were able to be seated, that was good. The prices I would say are normal for that quality of food and the location. Their bread, I'm assuming they make in-house is divine! It was busy, so maybe they should hire more wait-staff..... It seemed things were moving a tinge slowly. Overall, great place to eat.... but NOT for intimate conversations.... we were a party of four.

    Maybe it was just the night but it was so loud and service was so slow. We saw the server 3 times the entire service. It was my birthday and my friends took me to what I had told them was one of my favorite spots. It was a long ride from Alpharetta, parking was tough and the really slow inattentive service was just not what I was expecting. Fell flat for me and my guests

    What should have been a lively and fun experience became a bit of a downer after a passing waitress knocked a glass of red wine all over my husband’s pants, shirt, and phone. She and the manager apologized- and these accidents happen. However- no one offered to pay for our dry cleaning or discount it off the bill. The food was very good- except the Cacio e Pepe was overcooked.

    Great restaurant. Waitress was excellent! She bought me 4 wines to taste to help me pick one. Food was excellent! Our only complaint, is our food was very slow to come out. But that seems to be the norm now everywhere. And it was a Friday night. Had reservations at 6pm & tickets for a show down the street at 8pm. So we allowed a little over an hour to eat. 2 appetizers took about 30 minutes to come out & entrees it was after 7pm. So not really anytime left to sit back & enjoy the delicious food. Actually had to ask for the check when they bought out the entrees in order to make the show. But we would definitely go back again! Just allow more time or not have something planned for later. Haha!

    Well, overall, overpriced and so-so food. $15 for 4 small (2x2) pieces of very flat focaccia (so we had to order two items for 6 people). The menu was very limited and outrageous prices for the small portions of overly rich of food. If you have never been to this restaurant, please check the menu carefully as well as the prices. I have absolutely no problem spending $400 for dinner for 6 if we got something special. The best thing about the experience was the helpful parking lot attendant and the waitress was pleasant….but for 6 we were charged a 22% gratuity automatically. This was not mentioned while booking the reservation. There are only two unisex bathroom stalls for the entire restaurant, so, waiting for that was not wonderful. Oh and after waiting, one of the stalls’ toilets would not flush, so, after waiting for the one, had to wait for the other one to free up. No, will not be returning. So many great choices in Atlanta. Would not recommend.

    Chandler was great, she seemed genuinely excited about us trying and enjoying our drinks and food. Don’t skip the focaccia! It’s light, crispy and delicious. The best I’ve had in the US
