   We visited Storyville with expectations of a sophisticated dining experience, but unfortunately, it fell short. While the décor was charming and added a nice ambiance, the overall experience left much to be desired. The food was fair — nothing particularly memorable. The drinks were probably the highlight of the evening, well-made and enjoyable. However, the service was questionable. One concerning moment was when the bartender, who also served our dinner, handled a table that had been on the floor, touching its legs before proceeding to serve our food without washing her hands. That lack of hygiene was unsettling and certainly diminished our dining experience. Additionally, we were surprised to find an 18.5% gratuity automatically added to our bill, with only a small note at the top of the menu. This lack of transparency led to my boyfriend unintentionally leaving an additional tip on top of the already included gratuity, making our meal — consisting of two drinks, two appetizers, french fries, and fried okra — cost nearly $100. For the quality of food and service we received, that price felt excessive. Unfortunately, given these factors, I can’t say we’d return. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and clearer communication on pricing, Storyville could offer a much better experience.

   Very nice place. It’s hard to get a table on weekend for brunch, but we got in and the waitress was super nice. Place is a little dark, more like a bar, but not bad !

   Must go to venue! The ambience, staff , drinks and food (well seasoned) were all amazing!

   The service was friendly. The ambiance was nice. The food was mediocre. I had the catfish nugget Po boy sandwich it had a fishy taste not good. The Swamp drink was good. My mom had the shrimp pasta dish she said it was too tomato based. My dad like his Bourbon burger. My daughter had shrimp etoufee is was good to her.

   Food is really good!! Service was a little slow but they may have been under staffed for the number of people there. Wait staff was very nice and courteous, did a fantastic job. I would definitely go back.

   They only had one waiter do service was pretty slow but the food and experience was good overall
