Located in Heart of Covent Garden London, only few minutes from the station. Strand Tandoori Restaurant is an Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant. It has established in 1978 and is proudly serving it's customers authentic food over 30 years. They are specialised in Tandoori dishes as well as numerous different curries, and Balti.

    We were a table of 10. The meal was as good as we have in our favourite tandoori restaurant. Outstanding for such a busy area, fab location. So easy for theatre land, Covent Garden etc

    Really good food in a curry house you might expect in Tooting more than Covent Garden. Good value. Great discovery.

    The food was served hot and was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately the service was comical, almost to the point of rudeness by one or 2 staff. Plates and other items just dropped onto the table where they stood, not given to the actual person. Started taking order then stopped and walked off. Started dealing with someone else and never came back. Thankfully one staff member was lovely and on the ball. Food fab but wouldn't go again

    The advertised lunch deal on OpenTable was not available once we got to the restaurant. The popadoms were extremely overpriced the waiter suggested two each which came for thirty pounds for the group there were 10 of us. The bill was written in pen which made it needlessly complicated to work who was paying what. Furthermore the waiter rushed the entire meal. On the whole not a fun experience that was meant to be a fun day out

    Being in London weekly, I get the opportunity to sample many restaurants. Strand Tandoori is my go to for Indian food. Their curry selection is robust and the service is attentive yet not overbearing. The dining setting is intimate and cozy. King prawns with the Phall (extreme heat) curry, Butter Chicken and garlic Naan were cooked and seasoned well. The staff here are lovely and will return soon. Cheers!

    Mr Managar was a wonderful host. The dinning room was very pleasant without the hustle and bustle that you get in the area. The food came promptly and was fantastic! Good quality Indian food.

    The Staff is attentive and professional. The Phall is phenomenal if you are up for the heat. A favorite on the strand.
