   When we first arrived, we couldn’t believe how we had not ever found this gem before! The service is attentive, and the chef a FL local new hot chef. Our waiter was outstanding with the wine selections, our servers were fantastic as the described each presentation. The first bites of the prix fixe, menu fixe were amazing! Still, by the intermezzo course, we were both getting full, and 4 more courses to go. The final 3 protein courses, oyster, lamb and Sea bass, while sized small, just really was more than either of us desired. When the dessert arrived. sated we were, but a few bites were delish. My wish to the chef, is : While I have NO complaint about a fixed menu, perhaps there could be a choice of how many courses, since there are different sizes appetites.

   Use of salt across courses was too much to our taste. We did not want to have the chef adjust as this is their choice. Explanation of menu’s felt rushed. Very kind staff. Since this is a Michelin star awarded restaurant and $$$ reflecting, we feel it did not live up to our expectation.

   Everything was fantastic, creative and overall amazing. My only note for the team is that for the first half of dinner the food would arrive before the wine and for me this is a big pep peeve. Other than that, perfection!

   The problem was service. The servers graciously agreed to let us order a la carte instead of the full tasting menu. Unfortunately, my main course and side course were served very shortly after the salads, which we were still eating. Two of the other entrees were served about 20 minutes later, and the last person’s entree was forgotten until we asked twice about it. It was finally served 20 minutes after everyone else had been served. Chaotic and unpleasant.

Each dish was thoughtfully crafted and packed with bold, surprising flavors—elevated yet grounded. The wine pairings were spot-on, enhancing the journey without overpowering it. The vibe is understated and relaxed, letting the food shine without pretense. Of all the Michelin-starred restaurants I’ve visited in the U.S., this one stands out for its balance of creativity, warmth, and value. Truly a great bang for your buck. Special shoutout to Steven, who was holding down the bar solo after a torrential downpour and flooding—his care, attentiveness, and professionalism made the experience even more memorable. Thumbs up all around. I’ll be back.

    Very good food on a true one star Michelin level and at a fair price. The menu offers a wide array of different tastes and is quite light and manageable. The restaurant itself is ok, we were as Europeans a bit cold. We shall come back (and bring an additional jacket).
