Michelin Starred Stubborn Seed is the result of pairing unrelenting passion with an unapologetic approach. It aims to unearth cravings of the palate while constructing a reward in each bite. This philosophy takes honest ingredients and elevates them. At the helm is 2022 James Beard Award Semi-Finalist and Bravo’s Top Chef Season 13 Winner, Chef Jeremy Ford. In 2022, Stubborn Seed was awarded one Michelin star in the highly coveted inaugural Florida guide.


Stubborn Seed is a tasting menu only restaurant, with the option of a la carte service or the tasting menu at the bar. Reservations are available for table service and also available for the bar. Dress code strictly enforced as smart-casual. We are unable to accommodate tasting menus for guests following a vegetarian or vegan diet.

A cancellation fee of $50 per person will incur if cancelled within 24 hours of the reservation. On holidays and special occasions, cancellations fees will be $100 per person.

    The tasting menu was an awesome journey through flavor and texture profiles, assembled with great attention to detail and presented beautifully. The food and service were exceptional. We felt that the music was too loud - we had trouble hearing the descriptions of the courses, which was a shame.

    Came here for a birthday celebration & everything was amazing. The tasting menu was really flavorful & beautiful dishes were presented. Service was top knotch. Only 2 of the courses we didn't love but the rest was great & still worth the price. Best drink was kill dill. We would def come again when menu changes.

    Our waiter was very nice he took the time to explain each dish all of the courses came out at the perfect time and I also appreciate how they went on our pace. Will be coming back again!

    Another great experience at this Michelin-starred gem. The food, of course, is the main attraction. But the perfect balance of service, music, and location make this a MUST stop for any Miami itinerary.

    All the members of the wait staff were very helpful and informative. The food was delightfully delicious. Pricing is above what we would normally be willing to pay, but I wanted to treat my husband to a special birthday dinner. And special it was! We loved the courses we were served and would highly recommended Stubborn Seed to anyone seeking a truly elevated dining experience.

    All the service staff went above and beyond. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend to our friends. The food was amazing! The sea bass and wagyu tartare were our favorites.

    this is definitely the best tasting menu restaurant in Miami, hands-down. Will be coming back frequently to try the different variations throughout the seasons.
