   We had a great server… I think k her name was Lydia… Food was very good not great for everyone… My wife thought the ribs were too tough on the outside… Appetizers were great (wings, popcorn shrimp, and devil eggs)… Overall we had a very good experience

   Second time here. Lovely place but the taste of the food is not what I would expect from a well known chef. I had the chicken and waffles a few months ago and was not impressed but decided to give it another try. The waffle is great but the chicken was as bland and tough as it was the first time. Crunchy and looks great but completely without flavor. Not a foodie or food critic but thought I’d share my thoughts if anyone’s listening.

   Case was a wonderful server. The atmosphere was great. He was attentive and didn't over-check in. The food was flawless. We were stuffed. The manager brought us champagne for our engagement. We will be back. Thank you Case and Succotash staff!

   Overall, it was just okay. Wasn’t super impressed given how I was looking forward to eating at Chef Edward Lee’s restaurant. When I saw on the website that Chef Edward Lee “brings his Korean roots and Southern repertoire to a soulful Southern menu” I was expecting a little more Korean touches to the dishes, but was disappointed. This was my misunderstanding though. The service people were kind and friendly, however, the overall experience just did not meet my expectations. I had to ask for a new plate because I noticed the one I received was not properly cleaned. The steak we ordered medium rare came out very tough to the point we could not find ourselves finishing the dish. The dessert that came out had a piece of hair (likely an eyelash) embedded in the cream. We were offered a new dessert but we politely declined. Again, was not super impressed and do not see myself coming back if I’m ever in town.

   The dirty chicken was ok, but saltier than I expected. If you're strictly looking for a place with good gochujang-sauced fried chicken, any Korean fried chicken shop would be a better bet. The delta here is the environment, which is on the more high end side.

    We absolutely loved our entire time at the restaurant, from the moment you are greeted to the very last moment you walk out. I have never felt so welcomed and appreciated as a customer. My husband and I with our kids want to thank Andrea for her lovely service and our waiter Mike for being so quick and tentative. Also, I almost forgot to mention the food was delicious!!! It’s a must in DC
