Sugar Factory American Brasserie is bringing something SWEET to Chicago’s famed River North area, just off the mag mile. Created by a team of world-class chefs, the menu selections include everything from pancakes and sweet and savory crepes to salads, burgers, steaks and shakes, all available throughout the day. This celebrity favorite is sure to satisfy any sweet-tooth craving. Signature treats include famous Couture Pops, Smoking Goblet Cocktails, Candy-Infused Martinis, and the one-and-only King Kong Sundae. Please dine with us and let Sugar Factory deliver an unforgettable guest experience.

A 20% Service Fee will be added to every check. This goes to the service staff, and no extra tip is expected. Also please beware that we have limited booth seating, there is no guarantee that you will be sat at a booth.

We will have special holiday hours December 20th to Jan 2nd. We will open everyday at Noon and close at 11pm. Last seating is at 9:45pm.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at this particular Sugar Factory location. My family and I have visited the locations in Orlando, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Indianapolis, IN, Nassau Bahamas, and tonight, we visited the Chicago location. Our service was beyond disappointing from the very start. Our appetizer was delivered to the table completely wrong. We had to ask multiple times for water and condiments. They were out of a menu item and didn’t tell us until after we ordered it. The manager approached us and we expressed our concerns and he gave us our desserts complimentary. That would have been great, except we didn’t receive what we ordered for dessert. They brought out 4 desserts and two of them weren’t ours. They tried to convince us that we ordered milkshakes. It was almost comical. Lastly, the entire reason we went to Sugar Factory is because two of the people in our party had never been to any location. We hyped up this restaurant and told them of the vibrancy and music! We showed them YouTube videos of how cool it is and how interactive the staff was. We didn’t hear one single song the entire 2 hours we were there and we were placed at a booth in the bar area facing the bar. Not a single cool thing to see other than drunk people and we had our 10 year old girls with us. The staff seemed boring, no energy, rude, bland, and not at all what we have experienced at other locations. When we got our bill, it was $311.00 and they charged us for the free desserts they promised and they also charged us a mandatory 20%. I will not be returning to this location and will be reporting my experience to their corporate office. Do yourself and favor and save your money. Go get pizza somewhere in the city.

There is an automatic 20% charge, which would be fine but the service was terrible. Front desk was rude and clearly annoyed with the bussers. The manager for the night was our servicer and he barely said 3 words to us. The food wasn’t good, as well. We walked out disappointed.

This is just an obvious cash grab. The candy store is lame and expensive and the “fun” drinks and shakes are obnoxious.

Orders drinks - they sat on the bar for 20 min with server walking past us and the drinks. One of our guests didn’t get his food, the server came by 15 min later and asked if everything was ok- no. We are missing a meal. Took 10 more min to tell us the kitchen skipped it. Brought it out after we were almost done They did remove that meal from the bill. I don’t like the auto 20% grat- it allows for lax attention, no desire to do a good job with no incentive. This certainly was not a $150 experience for 4 ppl even without 1 of the meals.

Had an amazing time went there just to celebrate a birthday and truly had an amazing time! Ice cream sundae was amazing! So many things in it! Got the $60 one (not on menu ask about it ;) ) with birthday song! Was able to share with the group. The song on the speakers, they let me pick a song that was not available and we just had a ball. Super nice people. Everything was amazing! Will recommend for sure
