Sugar Factory American Brasserie is bringing something SWEET to Chicago’s famed River North area, just off the mag mile. Created by a team of world-class chefs, the menu selections include everything from pancakes and sweet and savory crepes to salads, burgers, steaks and shakes, all available throughout the day. This celebrity favorite is sure to satisfy any sweet-tooth craving. Signature treats include famous Couture Pops, Smoking Goblet Cocktails, Candy-Infused Martinis, and the one-and-only King Kong Sundae. Please dine with us and let Sugar Factory deliver an unforgettable guest experience.

A 20% Service Fee will be added to every check. This goes to the service staff, and no extra tip is expected. Also please beware that we have limited booth seating, there is no guarantee that you will be sat at a booth.

My family and I visited recently. We have 3 kids all under 7. The hostess was EXTREMELY rude. Not only was there an issue with seating us and our sleeping baby, but on the way out she made a comment to another family that “it’ll be a few more minutes because the people before them must have made a huge mess.” I can’t be sure she was talking about us, but either way it was a rude thing to say. If it was about us, it’s important to note that while we do have 3 kids we try VERY hard to be as clean as possible. They automatically add a tip on to every ticket, and the food was not that good for the very expensive prices. Our booth was also all ripped up and the bathrooms were very dirty. Overall I would not recommend taking your family here.

How is this place still open? The staff was kind and competent. The rest of the experience is an embarrassment. I love a good chain now and then but this place is so sad. It’s a 2000 time capsule in all the worst ways. And the food! It’s like eating bad carnival food but paying hundreds to do so. Even the pancakes are disgusting. Tasted like something I’d expect at a hospital or from a free hotel lobby breakfast. Please save yourself the time and money.

My goodness... It doesn't get any more over the top than Sugar Factory. Don't go in expecting anything unsweetened lol! Great for kids and parties, love the deserts.

Popped in for a quick drink while staying at the hotel nearby. Not really my jam, but the bartender Josey took great care of me. The drinks are outrageous and FULL of alcohol.

Excellent service and a fun spot for birthdays. We had a lot of family join us last minute and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating.
